| Congratulations! Outstanding Service to Veterans Awards announced Jerry “Mike” Brown (Columbia Career Center); Harry Gray (Kansas City South Career Center); Ed Greenslit (DWD Central Office); Ron Pierson (Warrensburg Career Center); Steven Weingart (Washington Career Center). This incentive award program encourages excellence and partnership in the delivery of services to veterans. The award consists of an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. for the winner and a guest where they will participate in the U.S. Department of Labor’s “Salute to Veterans” held each year in conjunction with Veterans Day. The award is part of the Dept. of Labor’s “Jobs for Veterans State Grants” (JVSG) program.
